After 30 years as a high-end stylist on NYC’s Madison Avenue and two decades helming Hudson’s beloved Ca’Mea Restaurant, Roy Felcetto traded the salon and the kitchen for a tool belt. Roy didn’t just design The Howard Hotel—he physically built this seven-room boutique gem with his own hands starting in 2016. Every corner reflects his obsession with craftsmanship and design, blending his fashion-industry eye with a deep-rooted commitment to the Hudson community.

The Howard Hotel occupies one of the first brick buildings ever constructed in Hudson. Originally commissioned by the Jenkins family—the influential Nantucket Quakers who founded the city as a bustling inland whaling port—this landmark structure represents the very beginning of Hudson’s architectural legacy.
