Motel 3 is a historic motor court motel that has been renovated and updated into 11 furnished one bedroom cottages. The nostalgic look of Motel 3 Johnson Court is often the subject matter of paintings and photos as well as film projects. We are happy to support local artists! Weekly stays only.

Historic Property

Built in 1936, Motel 3’s unique appearance and nostalgic/historic significance was recognized by Gabe Quintanilla and included in the movie “Selena” which was released in 1997. Since then, the property has been a sought after back drop for various indie and student led film projects as well as a temporary art installation venue.
