Historical Property Description:Located on the shore of Lake Winnipesaukee, Ames Farm Inn was established in 1890 by James Noah Ames on land that had been partially owned by his grandfather who was a pioneer settler of Gilford. Currently, the 4th and 5th generations of the Ames Family are operating the inn.
